Our Plan for Success. Attacking all four types of Diabetes.
Imagine two boats riddled with holes that are slowly sinking as they become filled with water. One is kept afloat by a crew that is endlessly using buckets to pour out the incoming water. The other team slowly repairs every hole in their boat. Which do you think will complete its voyage etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
Turn off Genetic Expression
- Best done by the use of Actos and an incretin product, while limiting carbs strictly to less than 25 grams every four hours.
- Follow effect by monitoring Apo A1, HDL-P, HDL2, and ApoB:Apo A1 ratio to green zones.
An Emphasis on Inflammatory Response.
- Target organ specific inflammatory response by keep sdLDL, fasting insulin and adiponectin at peak levels. These markers reflect inflammation of the liver, pancreas, and adipocytes.
- Manage generalized inflammatory response via hs-CRP and fibrinogen.
- Long term management of chronic inflammation by monitoring myeloperoxidase and Lp-PLA2.
A Low Carb and Reduced Fat Diet
- Follow effects by monitoring sdLDL to less than 20.
- Read more about our diet plan here.
A Plan for Disease State Reversal
- This can only be done when you use Actos with an incretin product, and this combo treatment only works if inflammation is well controlled.
- Add basal analogue insulin if HgbA1c remains greater than 6 or if Fasting insulin levels are over 20.
- Aim for an HgbA1C of less than 6.0.
Treat Lipids with emphasis on regression of atherosclerosis.
- Get LDL-P to less than 900 or Apo B less than 50.
- Ideally HDL-C should be greater than 50 and HDL-P over 35 but an emphasis is placed on the LDL-P and ApoB goals as these are markers of proatherogenic factors.
